I was starting to think I was the only one. Like even when I go to someone's island and I find out it's raining, I have to switch to my rain outfit. I have two registered on my wand, one with a hat for when I don't carry an umbrella (which I might also use with an umbrella), and one without a hat. When I open my gates, I always let people know if it's raining and advise them to bring an umbrella. But I've noticed that most people just keep wearing their normal clothes in the rain, makes me sad. :'<
I find it really immersive to change my outfits according to the weather. I don't remember doing that in NL (because carrying a whole outfit took too much inventory space), but the addition of the wand changed everything for me.
i have a rain outfit for sure! but i don't use an umbrella because i tend to use a LOT of tools (i spend most of my time either fishing or digging things lmao)
I don't; I usually prefer to carry only necessary items, and don't even own an umbrella yet! I love the sound effects when rain hits it though! it's super cozy
I have the fish umbrella in storage to use, but I have a rain outfit as one of my wand outfits. I’ll usually swap to that when it starts raining so Zucker and I can be rain hat bros
While the umbrellas are incredibly cute, I just don't bother. I'd rather have an extra space in my pockets for something I'll actually need. If I see any cute ones I usually just give them to my villagers as gifts, they'll make more use of them than me.
I have hybrid gardens, so I am constantly pulling out a net for peac0ck butterflies. And every 5-10 minutes I need to pull out a slingshot. And in some cases, a ladder and/or vaulting pole. Too much work to to use the umbrella on top of that.
I do. I don't go back to my house and change into rain gear, though. (I haven't been using wands because I don't like that my skirt/shoes/whatever is tied to that wand outfit and I can't mix with something else.)
