Do you care what your villagers? houses look like? Do you care about the interior? Do you care about the exterior? Both?

I personally do not care what their houses look like. The villagers can do as they please with their houses.

I also don't care what villagers do with their houses or what they look like; I think that is one of the many aspects that keeps the game interesting! :D

For the most part I don't really care, but when their house looks like an abandoned shack, especially when it's in the middle of some nice modern buildings, that is when I wish I could change it. I really like Admiral and Drift, but unfortunately both of their houses make my town look like a war zone.

Only in Secret do I care what the exterior looks like. Only in Moriyo I'm seriously decorating their houses. I've gotten quite far on Flurry and Whitney. I think Flurry is pretty complete, Whitney is very close. Phoebe is near also, I like her default house. Sterling is too stubborn to accept my gifts and Julian hasn't asked yet. But I did accidentally leave the items I want to decorate with in my other town. Oops.

I care about both the interiors and exteriors to a certain extant. Like MapleSilver said, it does bother me if a villager I really like has a clashing colors or a run-down looking exterior (Dobie, I'm looking at you).

I didn't use to care about their interiors, but after Tammi replaced all of her cute exotic furniture with things like a modern bed and steamroller, I tried to make sure I never let it get that bad again. I just cringed every time I walked into her house and it was all my fault. Now, I am more discerning about what I give them when they ask for furniture, but I still try to fulfill all their requests. I just choose furniture that I think suits them better.

So, I don't really view myself as a dictator, but I still care.

I also think it makes a difference on whether a town is heavily themed or not. My current town is not, so I will try to work with whatever random villager's house shows up. When I start my themed town, I will be a lot pickier and only select villagers if both they and their houses match my theme.

Neither of them really bother me. Usually some of my favourite villagers have less than appealing exteriors. If their exterior is something I like or matches my themes then I kinda consider it a bonus. Same with their interior really. However, some of my villagers interiors have gone to the pack (yeah I'm looking at you Flo and Bones :p) due to them accepting terrible gifts from me. What can I say, they have bad taste xD

Pretty curios how their houses look like.

Yeah exterior is a huge factor for me. Interior not so much.
Even if I really like the villager, I'll let them move out and replace them if I feel like their house doesn't match the overall theme of my town. I spend lots of time on aforestlife's exterior guide to see who would be appropriate instead. In my main town I'm a bit more lenient because I designed the town to compliment the villager's houses, but in my new town I have a colour theme so not every house works with it.

Honestly looking at them together, they might go fairly well in a secluded area away from other buildings. I just like having my buildings close together, so it's kind of disappointing I won't be able to do that if I decide to move them into Fireleaf.

It bothers me when the inside of their houses look horrible
Especially because of something that I have done ( like giving them clothes for them to change).
However, I have never really chosen a villager based on how their house looks. Usually though, the villager that I pick have houses that are very similar to how they look so it matches the theme I’m going for. THough if I had a villager that had some sort of weird house that was Ne?n pink or aqua...I’d be a bit disappointed and I’m sure it would bother me.

I care a little bit when their houses look like hoarder heaven, but not really enough to do anything about it! Usually, I'm the one who caused their houses to look so silly in the first place by either giving them things I'm carrying around, catching them fish/bugs, or telling them to purchase stuff from Re-Tail.

I've honestly never ever cared about their exteriors though! I do take notice when a villager moves in who has the weird barbed wire fence, but if the villager themselves is likable, I'm very very forgiving of the housing exterior.

Wow hahaha

They'd fit to certain theme though, if the roofs had a non-livid color.
Thanks for showing us the picture however!

I don?t really care that much honestly, especially when it comes to interiors! Obviously some villagers? exteriors fit in better with my town?s aesthetic but I don?t think I?d ever not have a dreamie because I didn?t like how their house looked. As for the interiors, personally I love seeing how they add to and change their rooms over time - it makes the game feel more real to me <3

I'm pretty indifferent to what they do with their houses. Don't really care about exterior because it's something that can't be helped anyway. As for interior, I usually do put some thought into what I give to which character based on their taste and personality, but if they want to take my bugs/fish/leftover furniture I'm fine with it. I also don't like to disappoint them by ignoring their requests X)

I used to sell my fossils in Re-Tail since I could make more money there, and let them buy whatever else they wanted since I sold everything at slightly more expensive that what I would otherwise make when selling it. Until I visited Fauna's house to see that she had a huge dinosaur piece in her house, along with a bunch of other random items. That's when I started caring about the inside of their house. I no longer sell random things at Re-Tail, I now rather make sure that the items I gift/sell them would actually suit there house.

I don't mind what ever their exterior is. I do mind their interior - I'm kinda into decorating their rooms. It's not like op, more like my hobby.
My best favorite is Fuschia's room in my main town, so far.

In Sakura, I really don’t mind what either looks like, as long as the villagers cute/matches my theme.
I kind of care about exteriors in Whimsia, but my town and villagers have a woodsy theme, so most of their houses fit in well so it’s really not a problem.

No, since I always TT when I play and they sell off stuff they can look like anything lol. I mean yeah there are some with few/same furniture like Ankha that looks a bit weird after a while but yeahh villager itself is more important than homes.
