Do you care if visitors talk to your island villagers?

It's weird that they had two different languages in Animal Crossing. I wonder why they got rid of Bebebese?

I honestly don’t mind. I actually think it’s cute that Kyle keeps bringing up “the chocolate pie that’s to die for” thanks to another user chatting with him.

I don't mind. Each villager will only mention them once. I don't get visitors often, so I guess it's not that much of a big deal.

I trade with players every day. I don't think it hardly matters anymore. Why would I stop my villagers from talking about outsiders?

I think it’s awesome!! Everyone that I’ve traded with has mostly just traded with me and then left. I would be so happy for anyone to interact with my villagers : D

I mean, it is -technically- taking an item from them that you didn't ask permission to take, and that's not really cool. Even if it's a renewable resource it's the principal, you know? If someone asked me if they could take some flower tops or fruit, I'd absolutely say yes. But if they just took it I'd be a tad miffed.

Anyway, I don't think it makes a big difference if they DO talk to them. To be honest, it kind of weirds me out how my neighbors keep asking about people who spent a couple of minutes on my island to trade items I mean, unless the visitor and I arranged a trade, we trade, and then they insist on running around and going to track down and chat with every villager, I wouldn't care.

Shaking people’s trees and plucking flowers is rude af without permission. Even on my fiancé’s island, where I can shake trees, if an item falls out I’ll ask him if he wants it first because it belongs to him in the first place.

I think it’s cute when the villagers talk about people who visit. I don’t mind it at all.

I hated that in New Leaf. They’d mention my brother all the time who played the game like five times and quit and years later they’d talk about him.

I don't care. Villagers don't seem to remember visitors after like two or three days, even if you visit every single day. It was different in New Leaf, though, where they would remember until the end of time lol.

My friends frequently come to my island (and I to theirs) to talk to villagers. I think it's cute when they talk about them afterward!

I think, however, it can be kind of rude to just run up the stairs to my neighborhood and start going into houses during a trade. If anyone asks, I'll always say yes! I just think it's kind of odd just to run up as a stranger and invite yourselves in everywhere. As soon as they see a certain villager of mine on the map, all pleasantries go out the window it seems!

I don't mind at all. The villagers mention it whether or not they talk to them.
Also I don't mind if people pick flowers, shake trees, fish, explore, whatever. I do share an island though, so I have a deal with the other players on the island that if their money trees get shaken by my visitor, I will replace their bells. Works out pretty well.

I really don't care if people talk to my villagers. I think it's kinda cute, when they bring up my friends. Of course it can be a little weird, if it's people you have just done a quick trade with and your villagers then talk about them :'D

In this game I don't care, since villagers will speak about visitors no matter whether they speak to them or not, and also they forget about a couple of days so it's not much of an influence.

I'm okay with it - I don't really invite strangers onto my island, only friends, and they're free to talk to any villagers they want to talk to, just as I am free to talk to any villagers on their islands. Also, I kinda love that tmy friends' villagers remember me.
