Do you always try to get the pics of every villager on your island? (poll)

I'd love to get everyone's photo but it's just such a hassle. I've let some leave without getting it.

I've been getting pictures of 90% of the villagers I have. I have 8 spots that are permanent residents, and 2 plots to rotate villagers to either trade or sell. I've been doing the gift wrapped Iron Wall Lamp method for getting pictures, and it has worked out very well. Up to 14 pics already.

I kind of want everyone's picture, especially if they live on my island for a while. However, I have let and will let go villagers that are not supposed to stay long-term even if they didn't give me their picture yet.

So I chose option 2.

No, if I get them I get them but I like to get the posters from Harvs Cabin of everyone I have in my town just since I love posters!

I am trying to get the photo's of everyone on my island. I didn't get the one from my forced campsite visitor, but I really didn't like Hippeux so I don't really care about that. I managed to get 3 pictures so far (only started really gifting wrapped fruits 3 weeks ago), and one of them moved out with a camper. Now waiting for one of these 2 to be ready

While I do prioritize my favorites, I do like to make the rounds and visit or gift most of my villagers daily if I can remember. If any random one gave me a pic I'd probably be happy.

Of my OG villagers, no, I booted them well before they had a chance to gift me their pictures. My Amiibo villagers, yes, I want them. I thought I'd be okay with them leaving after I acquired their photo, but when Molly pinged, I just couldn't let her leave.

I don't think the same will be said for Rizzo, Cyrano, Mott, or Rodney.

For my first 20+ villagers, I really didn't bother. But after cycling and finally getting the villagers I really like, I kinda felt sad about my previous residents. So I finally focused on getting theirs to keep as mementos before letting them move out.

So far I have 7 (Rolf, Sterling, Rudy, Kid Cat, Dobie, Elvis & Ken).

I try my hardest to get everyone's photo (giving them stuff every day) but ultimately, if they decide to leave without giving it to me, then that's alright. I'll be a little sad but it's not too big of a deal

I'm trying to get everyone's photos before they leave. It was much easier to do in New Leaf with the April Fool's event, so it feels like a considerable challenge to try and do it now.

Haven't gotten any photos yet, though I have been trying to gift wrapped fruit to everyone to expedite the process for the past little while.

I didn't start getting villager pictures until recently and I just got my second one yesterday.
I've moved out multiple villagers through amiibo, but I plan on getting pictures of the villagers I like and the ones I connect with.
Coach is a good example of this, I connected with him so I want his picture. If he asks to move out after I get his picture, I'll probably let him.
Plus, I bought his amiibo card so if I miss him I can bring him back.

In all past games I was ruled with an iron fist and no one was allowed to leave before they gave me their photo.

Then this game I decided to relax my grip and play differently. I'd get villager photos I want but after letting two escape so far..

I'm back to my old ways. That's their ticket to leave.

I don't really care either way whether or not I get the picture of my villagers. Though, since I don't really plan on letting any villagers (except 1) leave, it's kind of a moot point for me since I'm bound to get them eventually, lol
