Do sanrio amiibos work for new horizons?

What would they come with a villager and furniture?? I didnt know about amiibos until last week

You can only use them for getting posters. No villagers, no other furniture.

You can use them on Harv's island to get the posters - Otherwise they don't give you villagers or furniture. You can get amiibo villagers via using the campsite and scanning an animal crossing amiibo card (However I believe theres a glitch with amiibo villagers used to kick out amiibo villagers)

You can only get the posters with them, so you can't put their physical models into Photopia (Harv's Island) or bring them into your campsite.

Damn shame too; those are the only amiibos I have! Would have ADORED any of them! Maybe one day....

maybe in a future update, the fact that the posters are in game is promising because it means Nintendo still has the license/permission to use them
