Do amiibo gotten villagers ever ping to move?

So it's been about 12-13 days since the update rolled out for everyone. I've scanned in five amiibo villagers (Epona, Inkwell, Limberg, Puck, and Freya) and... I'm worried about something.

We've learned that some amiibo villagers can move out and be adopted by other players. The only ones who can't are villagers gotten from figurines and the Sanrio cards.

But the question I have is... can they ping to leave on their own without using another amiibo to kick them out?

I ask because I don't have any other cards I want to scan in to have in my town, and eventually I'm going to get sick of always having these villagers while the others eventually leave and move out. None of them are considered 'dreamies' to me, so it's not a loss if they move out. I just liked them enough to have in my town for the time being.

So what's the word on that? Has anyone happened to have a villager that pinged to move out, and that villager originated from an amiibo card or figure?

I'm pretty possitive they move out the same way normal characters do. There is no reason for them not to ping.

I can also confirm they move out normally. I just adopted a scanned card villager from someone who was in boxes because they had pinged to move, not forced into them from another amiibo card move-in.
