Digby hint.....?

So this morning during her announcements Isabelle said something to the effect of “Oh no, my brother asked me to give him a wake up call this morning and I forgot!” I wonder if it’s a clue that Digby could be coming to ACNH? I’m not sure what his purpose would be in this game, maybe it doesn’t mean anything at all. Has anyone else heard mention of Digby?

I believe Isabelle always mentions her family from time to time. There could be a chance Digby may come, but we haven't really seen anything that suggests it so far.

I heard that for the first time last month I believe. I was tting and skipped it since i thought it was the same old isabelle talk, but from @saucySheep ’s reaction, I guess it is kinda new.

Yeah, my Isabelle talks about her parents fairly often, but this is the first time she’s mentioned her brother.

I remember her saying that a long time ago, possibly as early as the first month she was there even. I doubt it means anything.

Not sure if I'm going to read into it, but I would love for Digby to come back. I have noticed some new dialogue lately from villagers but maybe it's just because I'm playing more, idk.

In new leaf she only referred to Digby as her brother. But I suppose anything is possible

If she said that during the beginning of New Horizons' time, then no. It's not a hint.

I don't believe it's a hint. Isabelle just likes to mention stuff in her life and she never mentions him again after. I can see if she said he was visiting for one day but it never happens.
