Now that I have five towns all with a different native fruit, I've decided to only plant fruit trees of native fruit so I can have a bunch of perfect fruit in each town.

Not only do I love the idea of having an unlimited supply of all perfect fruit, but I think that only using one fruit per town gives it a nice, uniform look...landscaping-wise.

Which do you all prefer: perfect fruit trees or a mixture of every fruit?

I plant them all in my town, trying to keep it evenly. I haven't reached the perfect town status yet, so I just randomly plant them for now though. Will work out a system afterwards.

I try to have about 3 trees of each non-native fruit tree to satisfy villager requests and give fruit to other people who want them, but other than that, I use my town's perfect fruit for most of the trees.

I have all the perfect fruits of other towns stock-piled, so don't really need other fruit trees in my town. But I still have a few. Right now I have more of my native fruits than anything else, but I've seen towns where all the different fruits are planted in a row and it looks really nice! :D It really depends on how you want to landscape. I have a whole bunch of perfect fruit trees near my town hall as a way of showing town pride!

When I first started, I had different fruit trees per villager, but gave up on that idea because my villagers were too close together and it looked really cramped.

I prefer to have every fruit in my own town mainly cause you might get a request from your own village for a certain fruit so you don't have to go looking for someone to sell you that fruit

I have only my native fruit. I cut down my trees on the island and plant non-native fruit there in order to have a supply for villager requests.

I prefer to use 2, my native fruit and then another one that I think looks nice :) Apples and cherries in StarLake for example.

I have a mix in my town at the moment but I'm thinking of making it just my native fruits.

That is a really good idea and I don't know why I've never thought of it. lol

If I didn't have all native fruits spread out across my and my husband's towns, I'd still keep a mix of all fruits in my towns. But it's just easier to keep a basket of each fruit stored at all times, and they never (at least in my experience) ask for any of the exotic fruits.

Growing fruit trees on the island is an excellent idea, though!

That's true. Sometimes they'll say they want any fruit and that's when I give them something from my island stash. (I like to save the regular fruit for when they want a specific kind.) Perfect pear trees mixed with regular trees would be unique and since having a stash of fruit on hand isn't a problem for you, go for it!

I try to collect them all by going on tours and stuff and I still miss a few.. could probably ask here but.. yea ah'm lazy

I've not started town development yet, but I'm going to try using a mix of different fruits. Probably not, if any, many tropical fruits though.

I have a few big perfect apple orchards scattered around my town, but I have the rest of the fruit trees by my town square in a neat little row :3 I like having every fruit because I get asked for snacks a lot.

I have 4 towns and planted perfect fruit trees with one apple, orange, pear, peach and cherry tree.
Placed the regular fruit trees near retail or city hall. In each town both buildings were close to the wall. I did plant a mango and lemon tree behind Tutu/Ed house. It looks pretty with the flowers.
