Differences between ''normal'' villagers and amiibo villagers?

So I wanted to know if there's a difference between the villagers you find in random islands and the ones you invite via amiibo, thanks c:

Not really, except for the amiibo-related glitch. There's a sticky on the villager trading subforum talking about it.

There's no difference. They all act the same, have the same dialogue, clothes etc... There are the same. The amiibo villagers just have the added benefit of not being rng determined.

Not that I know of! I have 3 amiibo villagers and there is nothing wrong with their dialogue

I heard about that glitch but I've not fully understood what it is or what is its purpose
