Did you name or base your island off of a book or show and if so which one?

No book, but I’m inspired by Ghibli movies
And try to emulate that same feel. My island was just a bunch of different ideas at first but I am now redoing it to be more
Cottagecore/Ghibli.

I didn't. My island was named "Olympus", named after Greek mythology.

I didn't. However, I contemplated for the longest on whether or not I want to name mine as Lothlorien or Lorien after the golden woods in Lord of the Rings.

I also ended up not doing that. If we ever get a chance to have a second island though, I really wanna do a "yume nikki" inspired island. It's one of my favorite games ever, and I think it would look realllllly cool as an acnh island. ugh.

My island is called Hanamura, like the location Hanzo and Genji are from in Overwatch! While I don't really have any interest in Overwatch now (the lore was too slow to come out and I don't play FPSes) I think it's a really pretty name, and Hanamura was a great aesthetic.

Ever since I got terrifoarming,, it's being converted into a Danganronpa theme most likily, but my own game. Not based on the others

It's a game, and bad anime. But it's a favorite fandom, and I wanna make it shine. My other thought was South Park, because it's another fandom I love-but someone beat me to it lol

So I'm going to give this a go. Still the same name, which I'm fine with it

I'm gonna start a new island soon and plan to call it Toad Bay, a name inspired by Toad Hall, the home of the character Mr. Toad from the book "The Wind in the Willows" (my island theme will also be mainly inspired by this book).

I named my 2nd island Vesperia, thinking I made it up, only to learn later that the name is already taken by a game--Tales of Vesperia. It looks like a good game but I haven't played it and didn't name the island after it.
