Did you name or base your island off of a book or show and if so which one?

Mine is named pyrrhia after the continent in Wings of Fire and most of my designs are in that theme.

My island Fuggire, means something in italian, that relates to my island's theme and plot

I named my island Northwood… and idk why. Looking back I think I wanted something plain in order to develop a life of its own, and to avoid being gimmicky….

Now I wish I had named it something more clever, but I’m 300 hrs in and it’s too late now

My island's name, Tropicako is just a combination of the Tropical and 'Ko'.
Not from anything, at least I think.....

My island is named Medfield, which is a fictional college town that is used in a lot of old live-action Disney films. My island tune is the fight song from the opening credits of one of the films!

I named my first island Gilligan because of the TV show,Gilligan's Island and my second island is called Starbug taken from another TV show,Red Dwarf.I probably shouldn't name my islands after the first thing that pops into my head.

When I started playing I hadn't thought of a name for my island. As I was going through ideas in my head I remembered a series of books I read years ago called Twitches. There was a cottage in the book called Lunasoleil(moon sun) and I liked the name so I used it for my island. But nothing on my island has anything to do with the books.
