Did Nintendo Delete Gulliver?

I have not seen this dumb bird in ages and it's really annoying me. Why hasn't he come around? I've never missed a day of playing New Horizons. I just want my Tam O'Shanter! I wish he'd just visit anytime without him having to worry about some other NPCs visiting the island. I think that's just lame how they have to trade off who visits when.

Yeah, they decided they didn't like Gulliver anymore so they dragged his game code into the recycle bin. Pretty sad, really.

Recycle bin? Or did they just leave him stranded on a different island without being able to contact his mates for help?

I see him quite a lot tbh, but he gave me like 5 hats in a row so recently I just keep the 5 parts and they turn into rusted parts the next day

I barely got my second painting from him very recently. He's another NPC that has been quite rare for me as well. Kind of sucks that the artistic section of the museum is still pretty barren.

There are certain items that I want specifically from him. After I get them, I won't care how long he's gone. But I do wonder what's going on. He should just come by every week without feeling like he's interfering with other NPCs. It's either him or another NPC, right? I don't know.

I know he's still around. But the fact that he's been MIA in my game had me wondering. I used to see him often from March to April. He didn't show up once during May, and he still hasn't been around.

Labelle comes to my island every week. Redd has only showed up three times, but out of the three times, he brought all fakes. He's as rare as the pictures and statues he sells.

Yeah last time redd visited me he had all fakes, he’s lucky I wanted the toaster he had or I would have been mad I’ve had more paintings from my villagers at this point

I do like that he sells furniture items on the side, making him not exactly a one and done character that visits. He jacks up the price for those items, though. So at least you got something out of it. I'd be pretty upset too if he came by without having something else I could get from him. Have the paintings all been fake when the villagers give them to you? I got the gallant statue from Al, but it was a fake. My brother recently got I think the mystic statue, which was also a fake.

At least I now know who he likes to visit more. I wish there wasn't a one or the other sort of visit with the NPCs. For example, it would be nice to be able to have Redd and Gulliver both visit at the same time rather than it just being one or the other.

I wish we could visit other players' islands and help Gulliver out so we could get an item from him. Too bad that's not possible, because I'm kind of desperate at this point.

Hopefully he'll show up soon for you, then. I'm not sure why he's so rare for some but not for others.
