like he just shows up without you really searching for him he just.. arrives. he's just there. he stares you in the face and says "it is i, raymond animal crossing. i live here now."
he showed up at my campsite as my first smugman and i was like "ok coo"
i got my raymond very much on purpose lol, but it was definitely nice to hear stories of people getting him so he didn't feel so far out of my reach lol
You know I never wanted raymond but since hearing the hype surrounding him I knew I had to decide on inviting him. I already have Leopold which is another smug academic villager. He has the whole vibe similar to Raymond. Long story short. I grew attached to my lion and when I found raymond he wasn't "sparking joy" so I gave him away. I wasn't sure if I wanted something so desirable I already have 3 cat villagers. I found him and released him after experiencing the raymond fansty.
I found him at a campsite while I was hoping to get Judy. My friend was looking for him so I added him to my town and cycled him out into boxes so my friend could come pick him up. Still haven't found Judy :'(
Happened on my first two islands. I don't expect to get him back on this island and I'm okay with that. I really like him but I like other villagers a lot too.
"Raymond Animal Crossing" lmfao...anyway, I wish my luck was that good. My forced camper was Pietro and I couldn't kick his clown ass off my island fast enough.
I had an empty lot and didn't go island hopping and then like a few days later i saw that it was sold and it was raymond. I couldn't believe i got him so naturally and for free. happiest day of my life! (same thing happened with Sherb too)
I found Raymond in 2 tickets. I was looking for any interesting villagers to fill an empty plot. I got him with the intentions to trade for a dream villager once he decided to move out.
Yeah,Raymond was the first camper on my island.I was hoping I might be able to get him but I wasn't gonna go out of the way to do that and he just showed up on his own.
ME RIGHT NOW! literally standing on an island with him now, I was looking for a snooty or a lazy that I like and he appeared in front of me after 7 tickets....... he was never a top dreamy but i started to like him more and more, I'm so excited for him to live on my island!! I hope everyone searching for him finds him soon <3
I have Raymond but it wasnt really on purpose. I was just doing a long nook miles trek looking for somebody special because at that point all I had was Skye, Tammi, Marcel, Bill, Hazel, Dizzy, Willow, Phil and Gonzo. Not exactly a dream team so I figured I had earned the right to go island hopping for somebody really cool.
Around island number 27 I found Raymond on what was also my first ever hybrid flower island!
Since that time Gonzo moved out and was replaced by Lucky and Willow moved out and was replaced by Julian (who had just shown up in my campsite. Didn't even look for him).
Also Hazel suddenly became super popular for whatever reason. So I've got all the high tiered characters I need.
The next villager will be just for me. Someone that I like. Regardless if they're tiered highly or whatever.
And that will be who replaces Marcel. He and Lucky are both dogs with the exact same Lazy personality so he's gonna have to go because I have three lazies, three smugs, and no snooties or crankies. So my balance is way off.
My forced smug was Eugene
