Did anybody notice punchy is the only cat with Whiskers?

How come it's only just now that I noticed this with Punchy's appearance? Now to me, it makes the rest of the cats look weird without whiskers.

I honestly can’t remember. I’m pretty sure though he never talked about bugs. I think he might have just talked about snacks and sleep before. I could be wrong though; I haven’t played NL for a couple years now and already I forgot a lot of the stuff that I did in the game. When he visited me, he would always comment on my food decoration though:

i’ve been playing new leaf again and he basically just likes food & sleeping. other than that, he seemed more lazy, not much was going on lol. i like the new bug obsession though, it came out of nowhere but it fits the personality and makes them cuter. i also don’t remember him talking that much about smells lmao. new horizons dialog for lazies are definitely an improvement, even making me like punchy more.

in new leaf, he’d say good evening at mornings, mistaking it’s night. when i enter his house, he gets shocked like he’s spacing out and say i’m stealthy like a ninja. what never changed is the “a huh huh” in every sentence. a huh huh.
