• Good evening, everyone! We have an egg hunt announcement! An additional clue for egg #21 will be posted Monday at 6 PM EDT if it hasn't been found by then. The egg hunt will also be extended until Tuesday morning at 10 AM EDT.

DIAAAANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! >:(

Been trying for maybe 3 hours altogether to get Cherry in a half-decent spot. But yes, she keeps going to the same place again and again -.-

I reset to get Stitches in my starting villagers for somewhere between six and eight hours, lol.

I don't plot reset that often. For Bunnie I spent maybe 15 minutes doing it before her house crushed things that didn't really matter and I could work around it. I just get bored so easily.

About an hour for Whitney. She kept staying in almost the same spot right in front of town hall. And when she did move it was to the right of the river and everyone else was on the left. Finally she moved in a good spot.

Longest I've spent was about half an hour for Jay's spot when I had him coming. He kept moving in on top of my paths. Now resetting for the lazy personality is a different story. Spent hours trying to get Cranston before I settled for Punchy.

It takes me usally 10 hours til a few days to find the right spot for my dreamies ^^
I just can recommend placing PWPs where villagers tend to built their house often, but I still restett like a day or two until I get an "acceptable" place :(

I'd say it depends, some restart twice and have the perfect spot, others resett like centurys :(

It took hours to get Whitney to move into the exact place I wanted her: right next to and aligned with Lobo's house. It was worth it though, they are too cute :)

Omg, I'm going to do my first plot resetting soon, and someone taking this long is my absolute fear! (Next to mucking it up :P) The main problem in my mind is that I'm not yet at the stage where I can build PWPs, and I have two villagers being held for me that I will need to plot reset for. I really don't want to reach the point where I can build PWPs, to find I have 9 villagers or something crazy like that :/
Excuse my going on, I needed to get that out :P
People who reset for days have my admiration! I don't really have any spots in mind, so I'm just going to go with a spot that would work for me :3 Hopefully that will take less time.

Maybe 10 minutes? The only villager I've ever done it for is Merengue, and it only took about 6 tries to get her into an okay spot. c:
I totally forgot to do it for Rocket. I accidentally got her from a void and she moved right in the middle of my little play area thingy. >n<

You just have to keep chugging :( I spent about an entire weekend's free time resetting for Bunnie.

Three hours for Kabuki. He kept moving right in the middle of my paths. He didn't move exactly on the area I wanted him to move but close enough and I got tired of resetting.

30 minutes for Carmen.

How do you reset plots o.o

This works with new towns for new villagers and incoming villagers.
Step 1 - New Day (Do not load AT ALL on this day on any character)
Step 2 - Load a new character (brand new, fresh out the box, not a side-character)
Step 3 - Go through Rover's stuff, then look for a plot.
Step 4a - If you see a plot you like, the placement of that plot is fine, or if there is no plot (if that's what you want), go to Step 5.
Step 4b - If you see a plot or plot placement you do not like, click on the HOME button and turn off your game. This resets it. Go back and do step 2 and repeat until you find a placement you like.
Step 5 - Go to Isabelle, get a home with Tom Nook, and save. After this, you can delete that character. But only after you save and quit.
