Th people in the lower tax brackets make up most of the population. They shouldn't be taxed much, because if they were they couldn't buy stuff. This, unfortunately, is a very consumerism based economy, which requires constant spending to be successful.

What about all the people who worked harder when they were younger so they could make it through school and get a good paying job? Why do they get punished when the people who didn't take school seriously get it off easy? How is giving the poor a lower tax going to teach them how their lesson about the importance of knowledge?

Getting a good education doesn't guarantee success. My family found that out the hard way.

You're right, a good education isn't enough, you have to have a better resume than the others applying for the job.

You must be one of the younger members on TBT. Well, let me explain something to you, there are people here that care about the future of their country, however, these people have different views on how our country will be run, and when people feel strongly about something, they like to voice their opinions, and when their opinions differ, they tend to debate. So, as youu can see politics may not be as boring as you think they are, you just have to know what you're talking about.
