Dear Scorpions,

Please stop spawning in awful areas. My town has so much open space. You don't have to spawn right where a group of trees is or directly behind a house every single time. Why you even manage to constantly choose these areas over everywhere else available to you is completely beyond me, but please, please stop.

i finally caught one last night, but then again i had to clear all my trees for landscapping. lol those scorpions tend to never want to spawn though, i keep seeing tarantulas everywhere.

All I can say is, keep trying! The first four scorpions I had spawned on the edge of my town and decided to jump off and suicide.

P.S: I just got chased around by a scorpion on my new town today o _o

My scorps and tarans don't hide, they just sort of appear. I saw my first scorp outside my house, and my first tarantula at my town tree. I nabbed both before they chased me.

Do they walk on pathways? I have no open free spaces in my town. My town is either building, flower path or tree bush

I've seen one scorpion and it looked like it was going to attack but I somehow managed to catch it but I haven't seen a tarantula yet~

My town has a ton of greenery so I've lost numerous scorpions because they chose to run into a bush and vanish (dontcha wish they could just follow your paths...)

fortunately two nights ago one decide to spawn at my town tree and I managed to nab it without any issues! ...finally.

I've been pretty lucky with this. I found my scorpion when I was coming down from Main Street. It was sitting right there in the open, and somehow I managed to catch it (after slowly chasing it around a rock for a while)..
2nd scorpion I found, sprang out from behind my campsite and took me by surprise. I was holding a net. I didn't move and it didn't either. I was about to catch it when it moved at the last second and I hit the ground, and it bit me.

For tarantulas, I managed to catch the 4th one I found. It just watched as I walked up to it and caught it, lol.

The last two nights I have encounter a scorpion, once while I was in a field of flowers, it came after me and stung me before I realized it was a scorpion. The second was at my town tree, I had my net up and went after him but it was a bad angle and got stung again!
