Dead Spots :c

I set up a tiny place of just non-native fruits. The next day, there were two spots where they died. I followed the "12-13" trees. Did I just get unlucky or did I find dead spots?

What are dead spots, now that I'm on that topic? Is that where villagers can move?

I think dead spots are places where you can't plant anything, not even a flower. According to others they're definitely in this game. I've personally never encountered one in my town before, though.

Speaking of which, I hate when you plant something only for it to die the next day. Perhaps maybe it wasn't dead spots, but that you planted them all at once? It's safer to plant a tree or a bush one by one each day, unless that's what you did?

Dead Spots are simply spots where trees, flowers, plants, etc will not grow. Sometimes you can make them grow by changing the order in which you plant surrounding wildlife or removing surrounding wildlife. But if a spot where you are planting a tree violates the 3x3 rule, it will never grow on that spot.

Trees must be planted with 9 clear spots at their border. So they can't be touching a building, concrete, a bush, a rock, a cliff, or another tree.

I always recommend those! Never had a problem and don't believe in dead spots. c:
