Cycling with amiibo cards?

I know you can bypass the 16 villager cycle with the cards but say I have a villager, I kick him out via amiibo card, I want that villager back but don't have his card...can I use 16 other amiibo cards to cycle, then ask him to move back when he's in boxes in another town?

You can, but Amiibo villagers never want to move out naturally. At least easily, so unless they're villagers you want, I wouldn't recommend it.
