Currently Playing?

I'm done with Animal Crossing till Sherb's, and my own birthday. So I'm back to playing Arceus.

After I'm gonna play some *Let's go Eevee* because I forgot I had the game and I wanna do something I've always wanted to do in a Pokémon game, that I found out is possible

Mail Time on switch! I already shared my thoughts on and experience with it so far in the “Your Most Recent Gaming Purchases” thread, so I’ll spare you all here lol, but it’s a very charming, relaxing, cute game! I’ve had a lot of fun with it and will honestly be a little bummed when I complete it, which I think I‘m close to doing. I love all of the characters and the dialogue sm 🫶

I’m not sure what I’ll play next once I complete it.

Maybe I’ll finally pick up Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life again? I’m literally the most deadbeat mom in that game… I got a wife and kid and then disappeared for months LOL

I've been hooked on Palia recently. It's an open world MMO that I just kinda started on a whim, but I've been thoroughly enjoying it. It's got some major Stardew vibes, and I love almost every NPC. Players are all friendly, too, in my experience and everyone helps each other out. Just a very charming, cozy game overall.

Lately I’ve been addicted to Super Mario Wonder, but I also check in with New Horizons so my villagers don’t guilt-trip me for ignoring them lol.

I'm splitting my time between NHL 24 for the XBOX Series X and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Super Princess Peach if it wasn’t obvious haha. I am normally complete garbage at platformers but this one is considered to be easy by those good at them so another words perfect difficulty for me.

So these are the games I’m currently playing on switch:

Disney Dreamlight Valley
Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Kingdom Hearts final remix
Life is Strange

Watch Dogs Legion on PS5

Giving this game a try again after I got bored with it. I haven't finished it and despite my disappointment I am going to get it done.

I started playing The Last Campfire on Switch, it's a little puzzle game with really calm vibes and so far I'm enjoying it.

The last few days, I discovered a PC game. I usually don't play PC games, but this one is bizarrely unique, as if SimCity met Slay the Spire. It is called Against the Storm, and it is wonderfully fun and addictive.

I see is as a 'settlement builder roguelike', if there was ever was such a thing. Not sure if many Animal Crossing fans might like it, but with enough adjustments, it would make an awesome base for an Animal Crossing sidegame, in the realm of Desert Island Escape!

I'm currently playing Metal Gear on the MSX. 🐍📦 I beat it three years ago, yet a lot of the gameplay is still fresh in my mind. 🧠 If you like the Metal Gear series but haven't tried this one yet, give it a go! 🙌 Force yourself to play the game, because when I first tried it, I did not like it. After pushing myself, I got familiar with the controls and got used to the learning curve and I became hooked. 🤩

While the humor hasn't gripped me the same way the previous two games have, Portal Revolution has been pretty fun so far.

Ape Escape 3 on the PS2. Owned it since I was a kid. I previously beat it right after graduating high school, and thought I'd revisit it again after hooking up and using my dusty console after many years. I forgot how much I loved the premise of the game - Specter (the villain) creating TV broadcasts using his monkeys to take over the world by brainwashing the humans. As I like film & TV stuff, this game got me hooked right away. I never beat the first two, nor have I really played the spinoffs, but I think this game is the best in the series when it comes to gameplay, music, and extra content.

I'm wanting to play other games I currently own - I ordered a new controller and also picked up some games I previously only rented at my nearby retro game store. I love the simplicity of these older games compared to new ones today.

It's been awhile since I've posted in here mainly because I haven't been playing anything the past few months, oops, but I'm currently playing through Metroid Prime Remastered! I've looked forward to playing the remastered version, and I'm definitely enjoying it!
