Curious, how often do you guys get meteor showers?

I've played every day (no time travel) and I've only had one. It was very early in the game so I thought it was something that happened all the time and didn't even take full advantage. I have seen random shooting stars since then though.

I had one before the island tent was made into a building, so no one announced anything, it was lucky I happened to play at night.

just once, only knew bc my villagers were talking about it. Isabelle didn't announce it, though really she never seems to announce anything lol, honestly don't really see what the point of her job this time around is when every day it's just "nothings happening" lol

I haven't had any yet. However, I have seen some shooting stars on random days where there were clear nights or when Celeste appeared.

Multiple times per week, it seems. I have multiple stacks of fragments because of this. Cycle might've broken now that I've had rain 2 days in a row though (went without rain for a good week or so prior to this).

I've played since launch and I don't TT.

I had a cluster of five or six within the span of a few seconds once, but then there was nothing for over an hour after that until I logged off. Haven't had any other shooting stars/meteor showers, though. Neither Isabelle nor my villagers have ever said anything about a meteor shower.

I've had several days with shooting stars (usually gaps of anywhere between 20-45 minutes between and five or so stars at a time), but no meteor showers.

I had one. Does anyone know if it syncs to your part of the world on meteor shower cycles? I noticed the moon cycles match in the game.

Meteor showers aren't as predictable as lunar cycles. We can project lunar cycles, eclipses, etc out hundreds of years.

Meteor showers will always appear on the same night in your game, though. So if you time travel, you can go back to nights where you've had it before.

i've gotten one since release date and isabelle didn't announce it- my villagers just talked about it!

I've had two meteor showers, and then a few other nights with very occasional shooting stars. Isabelle announced both of my meteor showers.

I've also had Celeste visit twice, but not on the same nights as the meteor showers.

I've had 1. Isabelle didn't announce it, but the villagers were talking about it in advance.

I also had Celeste show up one other night where there was hardly any shooting stars.

A random handful of shooting stars seems to happen for me pretty often though, probably a few times a week.

I've had 3 meteor showers since launch, but Celeste first appeared in my town like on the second week of the games release. So like one shower a week?

I've been pretty lucky in Meteor showers so far. I've had two 'announced' ones (The first large meteor shower was before Resident Services) but a ton of smaller meteor showers, like around 3 times a week. The smaller meteor showers might or might not have Celeste and spawn meteors in batches of around 5 every 30 minutes or so.

Two last week [announced]. I've seen stars three other times unannounced, and Celeste has come around 4 times [once on a meteor shower night].

I've had zero meteors showers, but I have had three days of small meteor showers, two of which celeste was here.

I think like 3 or 4? One was official-ish like constantly raining stars, and others were like 1-3 stars every so often.

Had one last night actually. It wasn't a lot though. Celeste was on my island today, but no shooting stars.

i've never had a meteor shower and i've been playing since the 19th/no TT! celeste has visited once, and i've had some stray shooting stars, but never a big shower. i've visited another island with one though, and it was really beautiful!

Had the game since launch and no showers yet. Having said that I don't tend to play much later than 10pm so I may just be missing them (never had any villager dialogue to suggest they're coming though).
