Curious, how often do you guys get meteor showers?

i think ive got it at least twice? the first was when celeste first appeared, the second i think celeste was there too but my villagers told me about it as well. I dont think isabelle ever really told me when theres meteor showers. sometimes on clear sky days i get shooting stars without celeste. does that count as meteor showers too?
It's hard to notice when shooting stars are happening, especially when our attention is turned to other things in the game. It may be possible those who have had 0 in the past 4 weeks have simply missed them when they happened.
Isabell has never announced but while playing at night i have had quite many many nights shooting stars which i dont know if it is the same thing as meteor shower.
By the way do you guys know how to get an XL fallen star? i get regular ones and i got the other day a DIY card from celestial about a wand that requires a XL star ... Thank in advance if you know anything about this.

I've heard she only does it if you start the game at night. I start it at 5am every morning, so I've never had the chance to see the annoucement.
I've had two since launch day (no time traveling), each time my villagers would mention that there would be a meteor shower that night. Celeste has shown up randomly three or four times, only once during the meteor shower.

once a week i think / 3 times since i started playing. they come at such random times tho, when you least expect it and you either already planned to do something else, or have a visitor so you can't focus on it so much to make wishes. i've never gotten an announcement which is weird. it just happens.

thats really weird to me! I probably would never get to experience it honesty, i always start the game around 9am - 11am

just wish on the stars and theyll either be regular star fragments, large star fragments or aries star fragments (or whatever the month is) the next day

i've been playing for 3 weeks and the first time I got a meteor shower was yesterday. i dont really play at night so maybe more happened but I just wasn't there for it? Isabelle announced that there were going to be shooting stars so I put an alarm on my phone so I didn't forget lol

I have yet to experience a meteor shower. Such a shame that nothing gets posted on the bulletin board about it.

If it's just one, I think it's just a shooting star. Multiple in a row I believe is a meteor shower.
