I'm plot resetting for Ankha right now (WHY WON'T SHE JUST MOVE WHERE I WANT HER TO?!?!) and every now and then a tent will pop up in the camping site... So far I had to let go of Peanut, Rosie, Fang and Freya (plus countless less know tier 5s)...
I already feel bad, why do I keep checking? :/ ;(

Ooh I hate when that happens. It's just an irresistible urge to see who's there. Even if I do get the villager in the right place, I can't move the camping villager in anyways because my town would be full.

Ah the exact same thing happened to me the other day. I was plot resetting for Celia and I checked the campsite and there was Kabuki, who was another dreamie of mine. v.v

Luckily I was able to get him elsewhere, but it still sucked lol.

It happened to me while plot resetting for Ruby. I saw Stitches twice, Bob, Molly, Chrissy, Beau (I still didn't have him) and Whitney. It's just heartbreaking

(I spent 8.5 hours with Ruby so that's why there's many).

Ah, I know the pain... I was resetting for the random move in and there was Lucky in the camp site... Luckily enough he was one of the next random move ins

I'm sure there's a guide somewhere. Ummm... On the day that you think someone will move in, instead of starting your game with the mayor or one of the existing players you select "new file" and after the Rover talk you run around your town checking if the plot is there and if it is - in what spot. If there's no plot then you move to another day. If there is, but in a place you don't like, you quit without saving and do the "new file" thing again. And again. And then again... Until the plot in a place you want it to be

I know, right? after about 50-60 resets (no mkre than 3h for sure) I give up and I'll save when the plot is in a decent enough place
