Are you kidding? You'll tire out after a short while trying to kill zombies with a chainsaw. Even though it may be the best weapon in l4d, in reality a chainsaw would suck.

Have you ever tried cutting through the spine of anything, it's not an easy task. I honestly think a shotgun would work pretty good considering they fire a barrage of pellets and you'd still have some elbow room between you and the zombies.

The easiest place to cut through would most likely be the neck, but the fact that zombies will be of different sizes I doubt you could cut through the necks of a bunch very easily. Another thing is that a chain saw wouldn't be the easiest thing to maneuver either considering you're dealing with the force of the spinning blade too.

The problem is though that a chainsaw isn't like a single blade, it requires the spinning motion to cut through things.
