Every day, you can vote according to the rules for up to two winning couples

At the end, the couples with the most votes win the keys to their dream house~

About the Challenge

Spoiler: Explanation

This ?challenge? is obviously for fun and is an amusing way for me to decide which couples will have a common house in my themed town of Hearts. As you know, New Leaf only allows the creation of four player houses. The first house will be Mayor Cupid?s, and I decided to host this little contest between the couples to see who will will the remaining three. Of course, the winning couples will not actually ?move into? their new house, but they will be decorated with furniture they like as well as pictures of themselves and their children!

To make things more interesting, I decided to make each house a different size. I do not actually have ?budget restrictions? for my town, but I like to pretend Mayor Cupid is not able to afford mansions for everyone. This is why she has created this contest, which will last seven days.

Spoiler: Rules

There are only two important rules to keep in mind when you vote:

- Vote only according to the day?s challenge.
Please do not vote for your favorite couple, or for the couple that you would like to see win the whole challenge, or the results will not be accurate. Every day, a specific question will be asked, and you should try to answer it by voting and discussing in the topic.

- Vote for a maximum of two couples.
You may vote for one or two couples you think would win the day?s challenge, but not more. If you do, I won?t be able to count your votes for that day. If you accidently voted for more than two winners, don?t worry, you may simply reply to the topic to change your vote.

Spoiler: Prizes

The Marvelous Mansion will be awarded to the couple who has the most votes at the end of the challenge. Nook himself describes it as ?the best house a family could dream of, yes, yes!?. In addition to its two stories, it has a basement that can be used for storage. The ground floor has been expanded to add three spacious rooms that can be decorated to the couple?s liking.

The Honeymoon House is the runner-up prize for the challenge. Although not as gigantic as the mansion, it has more than enough space for a couple. ?If I wasn?t so rich, I would find it quite comfortable!? Nook jokingly explains. The house boasts three large rooms: the main room on the ground floor, a smaller children?s room at the back and a nice bedroom on the second floor.

The Regular Residence is the final prize that will be awarded as part of the contest. Due to budget restrictions, only three couples will be awarded houses, and the remaining two will have to move in together at a later date. While it is a bit on the small side, this house is better than nothing, as Nook mentionned during an interview ?Oh ho, I would say it is at least better than a tent!? The couple will only have one room to decorate, and it is no larger than their individual homes.

I do this every time, but I gotta go with the cats and squirrels. Rosie and Punchy have the little kid personalities, and Poppy and Marshal have the really nice personalities. Plus, Rosie and Punchy are my favorite cats, while Poppy and Marshal are my favorite squirrels.

Savannah and Papi are a really nice couple as well.
Diana and Beau... I don't get it.
Whitney and Fang are TOO similar. They look very similar, but not in a good way.

I think I'm going to go with both of those two, though I really like the horses too. Diana & Beau have grown on me thanks to Rubylena's AWESOME STORIES but I still think Poppy & Marshal are the best couple, closely followed by the cats and horses

They're my favorite squirrels & cats too!

I used to prefer Rudy, but Punchy is so awesome, I'm sure he'll take good care of Rosie (or the other way around XD)

Ha, I'm glad to hear that, I feel the same, haha!
Well I have to admit that I don't specifically like any of the 10 villagers (Marshal lives in my town but he kinda creeps me out so I hope he'll leave soon), so no sympathy bonus from me. I think the kittens make the cutest couple so they get one vote.
But somehow my own weird sleep drunk thoughts convinced me that Diana and Beau are meant for each other soooo... They get my vote too, though they obviously can't stand a chance.
When all the other couples broke up years ago because they got into in argument over an especially hard math problem (squirrels), or because one got famous and the other one got left behind (kittens), or because one partner got lost on a safari tour (horsies), or even because they found out they're somehow related (*cough*)... Diana and Beau will still be happy making inside jokes about pickles. Maybe if Beau becomes mayor he will even rename the town 'Pickleton' or something.

I'm sad this is over. Although it's probably good cause I'm already a bit annoyed by myself .__.
And you did a great job with editing all those pictures (looks like so much work omg I wanna go back to bed). Good job! I hope you will enjoy your town and we get to see more of the couples

Some people mentionned that Diana would be better with a smug like Zell or Lopez. I agree on the personality, but I prefer the looks of her with Beau. That, and their passionate love of pickles make them inseparable!!

I already had Papi & Savannah but I realised after making plans that they were in an awkward spot and I needed more space for them (to put some nice PWPs around their house). So I'll need to cycle them out and invite them again later!

This is why want to make sure I know exactly who goes where before I start moving everyone in And then hours of endless plot resetting XD I've made Hearts into a cycle town until then to help me gather flowers and bushes, but I'll probably be getting the couples from other cycle towns since I want to get a chance to plot reset them! Oh I do so love plot resetting! ^_^

Plot reseting is great when they get in a good spot but it usually takes me hours until that happens

Oh I was just being sarcastic I don't actually like plot resetting, I start thinking about random number generators and sit there staring at Rover's cruel, sadistic look for hours (okay I might be imagining a few things >.<) And then I dream about it XD

Hopefully the couples will call out to each other and their love will impact the programming of the game and make them plot quickly next to each other
