It really depends on the cookie. They're both great, but if I'm having Chips Ahoy, I want them crunchy. If I'm having something from my job's cafe, I'd want it to be chewy.
I like crunchy ones more. I may also like some chewy cookies but I can’t think of any right now that I like, at least specific store bought chewy cookies.
I like chewy cookies, especially the soft-baked cookies. Crunchy cookies are good on occasion; it just depends on my mood and what I'm craving at the moment.
hmm, i like it when the edges have a bit of a crunch but the centers are chewy. maybe that means uneven baking, but to me, thats HEAVEN. texture difference like that is a good mouthfeel for me. makes the neurons in my brain rapid fire
Since you cook them by baking (usually), cookies are supposed to be crunchy IMO. Speaking of which, my favorite cookies are Oreos, and they're crunchy. I eat them individually most of the time and occasionally dip one in milk if it's available. I like chewy cookies too; they're much easier on the teeth, which makes them sweeter for me.
Aw man... It's hard to pick one option in this poll. For the sake of it, I'll, uh, go for crunchy cookies.
I like both, but I highly prefer chewy cookies! They’re less messy to eat than crunchy cookies, and I just like the chewy texture better. It definitely depends on the cookie, though. I like crunchy more when it comes to store-bought cookies like oreos and chips ahoy!, but I like chewy more in general and when it comes to bakery and homemade cookies.
