Club Tortimer Scared Me :L

So I went to Club Tortimer for the first time 5 minutes ago... I literally only found out about it a few days ago xD

When Kappn says "with members?" I assumed it was if you have players with you...

Since finding out that's not what it was, all I've heard is everyone's horror stories xD

When I arrive to Club Tortimer a few mins ago I saw the Hibiscus Hairpin and was like :O YAY lol.
So I bought it and then someone arrived and I was like oh noooo lol.

I quickly left xD I'm on my way back... I need to man up :L

club tortimer doesn't scare me, I just find the whole thing mildly annoying. also even if I did find someone who was slightly fun to play with, typing irritates me so

I remember I already knew I would find an actual real people from somewhere else in the world when I went into Club Tortimer, but I still panicked when the first person saw me and ran to Leilani as fast as I could so I could escape the anxiety. (AAAAND missed buying the super cool looking Whirpool Bath, SIIGHHHSSS)

I've had more good experiences than bad- it's just people don't talk about the bad! Every time someone comes to the island everything in the box is saved so even if you loose connection (or you have to end it) you will get all the stuff in it back. You have just got to be careful, remember you can say no and if you really need if you can flick the wifi switch off

You don't have to talk to anybody either if you don't want too! Plus it's probably just some kid half the time anyway

I've had this game for almost a year and I had just recently found out about visiting an island with people throughout the world who aren't your friends. A few people have asked for my Tam O'Shanter hat, so I gave them mine and bought a new one. Kind of got annoying after awhile. xD

Ahh.That was nice of you to give away your hat.I were a witches hat.I have to wear it when I update my dream.Lots of kids asked to catalog or buy it.I never let them because it's unorderable.I think I'll start wearing rare but orderable hats to give to the Island kids.Thanks for the great idea.

I give away bells on the island...sometimes people are like "give me 500k!!" and normally I'd be like 'no gtfo' but I have so many bells because of villager/item trade on here, so I just say "sure!" and drop the money xD

I love CT, I've only met three trolls (which is pretty impressive lol). nearly everyone I meet is really nice

lol yeh xD I really wanna find the whirlpool bath but I think it's really expensive >.<

If it was unorderable, I wouldn't hand it over like I did. A girl from America came to the island and saw my hat. She told me that she had been looking all over for the hat I was wearing. I told her, "We can arrange that." I dropped it and she was very grateful. A few others asked for it, I gave it away. Eventually I had encountered a Japanese girl who saw my hat and kept saying, "Hat". Then I asked, "You want my hat?" She replied, "Hat." xD So I walked outside and she followed. Then I dropped my hat on the ground and she picked it up and used one of the happy emotions. She then went to the ADB and came back out with 99k Bells. Gotta say that she was the most generous out of all the others.

My first experience on CT was absolutely stupid...
I said hi to this other girl, and she called me an 'old hag', then I tried to settle her down.
I ended up leaving but she wouldn't let me, but after a few minutes of being AFK, she got bored and left me alone

Being a regular on CT, I've had varying experiences on CT. I met annoying kids before (simple counter troll works every time.) and I've also met very nice people before. I once talked about a YouTuber (SSundee) with another CTer. It was a very nice conversation.

I usually just visit to buy the exclusives. It always seems like someone is already on the island when I arrive. I wish I could arrive on a deserted one, then I wouldn't feel as bad ditching as soon as I came in.

i accidentally scared away a golden stag the owner of the island was trying to catch. after apologizing at least 60 times and dropping bells for them to make up for it,i quickly left ;.; i havent been to club tortimer since

I just went back to try this with the Tam O'Shanter... and the first person who came there while I was there was like "I like your hat " xD So I went outside and said they could have it if they want, and they were really grateful and did lots of happy emotions

I guess not many people have that hat yet xD

I've only done it twice but both times were pleasant, the first one I did a couple tours with this girl but the connection failed and ended it early. The second I hung out with this other girl outside catching fish and bugs and doing emotes, it was fun. I have heard a few horror stories though so I guess your mileage may vary with Club Tortimer.
