If using the wii mote to shoot stuff is bad then why aren't these groups attacking summer camps that let kids shoot bb-guns? or why hasn't Nerf been under that much fire or laser tag? all of those things have, well an actual gun of some sort, instead of a remote....

Honestly, why worry about virtual, when there are plenty of things that you can shoot as a kid in real life?
