cherry blossom season opinions?

so, this is my first acnl spring and im already in love with the cherry blossom trees! it's such a pretty pop of color among the green trees, and its upsetting to know that they'll only last for 10 days. i really wish they lasted for the entirety of spring instead of only being around for so long :c i know im not the only one who prepared their town with saplings way in advance, so how do you guys feel about them? are you as bummed as i am that they'll only last til the 10th? do you guys think they'll make it last longer in future games? or do you just not mind maybe? i kinda wished cherry bearing trees would bloom too, even though many cherry blossom trees dont bear actual fruit

The pink trees and the nice green colour at the cherry-blossom-season are adorable and I wish it would last longer than only a few days. Though I don?t want to see it everyday because I enjoy every season. I can always visit one of the dream towns in cherry blossom season if I want to see it c:

Before I'd always chop down the non fruit bearing trees because I thought it was smart. This time I didn't and I'm very glad I didn't! I've never really gotten to enjoy the pink trees before so this is really a treat for me.

I love the cherry blossom season. I'm purposely going to grow more non-fruit trees just for updating my dream town in the cherry blossoms (my town is still behind on time ;-; ) .

This is also my first spring in ACNL, and I love it. I remember it in previous games, but it was a nice surprise on April 1st. I had known it was coming, I just forgot when I logged on. I keep regular saplings though.

yes i agree! i have a fairytale theme in my town so it just brings it all together!

couldnt agree with you more ; w ; im also kinda upset because my town isnt finished, but i want to create a DA because i love the look of the petals falling before it ends. debating tting so i can enjoy it a bit longer c:

Cherry blossom season is okay, and I was rather fond of it on my old save file.

On my current (eight-month-old) file, this is my first cherry blossom season... and I'm honestly not that pleased. My town aesthetic on this file is primarily blues and greens, so the pink trees stand out really jarringly. Not exactly nice.

It's a great little touch, but not suited to my current save file. I can see how it would work well for Fairytale towns, though!

I miiiight keep TT'ing to stay in this season for a bit. I have a lot of work to do in my town, and I really wanted to have a dream code set up during this season, so I'm pretty tempted to keep going through the season until I'm ready to make a DC.

But at the same time there are so many PwP's I still need, which will take forever to get :c

While I love cherry blossom season, 99% of the trees in my town are fruit trees, so I don't really get the full experience. I just visit dream towns in cherry blossom season when I need a pink fix, LOL. My town tree looks lovely right now, though~

Last year I was disappointed when it didn't last very long. Just like the cedar trees don't have Christmas lights for very long.
So I just left my town as is this year. I have abunch of pink trees at the bottom of town and some at the top.
Enough to make me happy. Looking forward to when the pink starts flying around.
Next game they should make it last longer.

yeah I love cherry blossoms too. although this is not my first Spring in ACNL, last year this time I was really busy with school, so I didnt really enjoy the cherry blossoms as much as I am enjoying right now. and yes, it's unfortunate that it won't last long, but then again, cherry blossoms in real life dont last long either, which makes it even more special and it's something to look forward to in early Spring hehe (;
