So, they're currently at my campsite. Just curious how much are they worth having as a villager? I heard they're well-liked and worth quite a bit of bells? Just wondering. I'm not a fan of having a robot/sci-fi villager. So I considered passing on them... but how dumb would I be if I did that? Trying to figure out if I should invite them to live at my island. I still have time today to decide.

There's no reason to add him to your island if you don't like him. Basing your villagers on what other people like doesn't make much sense to me. It's not their island, it's yours.

Sorry, I should probably rephrase. Trying to see if he has good gifts/DIY's as our friendship increases? I also heard you can sell villagers for bells... so... I like money LOL I'm considering it. Maybe I'll end up liking him :-) I agree, though. Only take villagers I want on my island. I'm conflicted, though...

I got Cephalobot because I didn't have a smug villager on my island.I followed him around for his first two or three days on my island because he's such an interesting villager. On sunny days his metal skin shines in the sun like it's polished and he makes metallic noises when walking on hard surfaces.Aside from the robot/sci-fi angle,I think he's a good smug villager but he might be too weird for some people.

I mean if you need the money, you can definitely sell him for bells (if you end up not taking a liking to him). He's one of the new villagers from the 2.0 update so he's at least worth more than older villagers. You can check here periodically if someone's looking to get him but from my experience, most people here prefer to just giveaway villagers. Might want to check out selling on Nookazon instead. Prices on there are always inflated (not surprising). Just make sure you're trading with people with very good ratings.

I have him on my island because he's an octopus villager. Plus, he'll have a robot friend once I find Ribbot.

I think he’s cool. His name is a mouthful to say. I already have my dream villagers, though, and he doesn’t fit my aesthetic so I do not personally want him. You can probably net a few bells from him if you end up not liking him. It’s always good to try out new villagers.

Well got really lucky with myself. He gave me plate armor while at the campsite and a new recipe every crafting so far. For the record his house is a really cool spaceship design that I love.
