Does anybody watch this anime?
It's my favourite anime and all so my first, I watched it when I was 5 in Japanese and my mother sat next to me and read out the subtitles, but I obviously didn't understand all the love triangle stuff when I was 5...

I found this amazing website where it shows a lot of amazing Cardcaptor Sakura stuff. (They refer to characters with their Japanese names, all so the websites name is Little Miss Kinomoto, which is Sakura's Japanese second name)

In the anime it shows Kero showing Sakura how to use her Clow Cards for fortune telling. (The site shows how it's shown in the manga using more cards)
When I bought my Clow Cards they came with a guide on the fortune telling, but it was all in kanji. It had every card and what i'm guessing what the fortune is if you get that card. All so each card has a number, fullstop then kanji. It shows it highlighted in the guide and tried to translate it with the handwriting feature on Google Translate, but it didn't go very well.

I like it! I've seen both the dub and sub.

The dub is...well, bad. It cuts out a lot of things and renames most of the characters. Plus, they also can't say Sakura's name right which is annoying. (It's not Sah-kurr-a!!)

But the Japanese version is really adorable and fun! It's not even outdated for an older anime. Syaoran is so cute. x3

Haven't had a computer of my own for awhile, so it makes watching anime a bit of a hassle, but I definitely plan on watching this and a few others once I get one for school.

You both should watch it, I usually can't watch a anime again and again without taking a break or I won't find it interesting, but I love it so much I love watching it whenever. I still need to watch the American the whole way through, so I might watch a uncut fan-dub.

I haven't seen this since I was a kid! I remember the dub version having MAJOR issues, like, episodes were cut up and switched around and names were changed for no reason. Tomoyo's name was changed to Madison. They referred to Tokyo as Readington, too, if I recall correctly. I always wanted to give it another shot because the clow card designs were so gorgeous, but my initial experience with it (combined with my incredible backlog of OTHER things I have to slog through first) makes me hesitant to go hunt it down again, even in its proper form.

I read the manga's when I was a kid, it was one of my favorite series growing up! I haven't watched the anime though, but I'm sure the anime is just as good <3

I was in love with this show. I really prefer the subbed version over the dubbed version just because the dub was ruined and it ruined so much that was going on with the subbed. And I love the movies as well especially the second one. I am and still a huge Sakura x Syaoran shipper. They were so adorable together and ugh I get feels just thinking about them. <3 ;w; And yeah, this show was also a huge nostalgia and memory lane walk for me. The manga was great too and so was the soundtrack! Also loved Sakura's costume that Tomoyo makes for her because ugh....they looked good for the most part. ;w;

I watched the dubbed, not the subbed. Now I want to watch the subbed haha.

The subbed is so good. There's a lot more romantic-like things that got cut. But there's a so some stuff that when I saw it wasn't there (And FYI I was 11) I allways though, 'Wow, Americans are so childish that they need that cut?'.
But I still love the dubbed, the voices are so cute! ^^
I don't really mind the name differences (Except Mizuki-sensei is now... Ms Mackenzie ;^; ) but to be honest they just took the first letter of the Japanese name and thought of a American name. (Sonomi - Samantha)

But I did prefer the Japanese second names. Kinomoto FTW!!
Rei is my name, but I just chose Kisaragi to use instead of using my second. But now I'm contemplating changing it to Kinomoto, even now I have a million online accounts all using Rei Kisaragi ;^;

In the past 9 days I've watched the subbed 3 times (Once from ep.1, once from ep.20 and once from ep.40) the movies 3 times (The first once, and the second twice) and the dubbed once... I've had a lot if spare time.

Hehe I just imagine people trying to work it out on their fingers.

Oh yeah, does anybody know were to buy the Star/Sakura book? If you can that is.

Now is a good time to rewatch and collect stuff, seeing as there's a lot of merchandise coming out for it's anniversary (I think...)

Pretty sure the Sakura Nendoroid is released, Tomoyo has been announced and confirmed, and there's a variety of other figures, straps and collectibles if you are into that stuff :3

That would be super awesome, the only merchandise I have is the Clow Cards and a figurine of Sakura. (From the 3rd theme song)
But now i've been watching it non stop and getting into it a lot more when I originally watched it, so I'm compiling a huge wishlist of CCS things. (Basically my wishlist is every merchandise)

I love Syoaron x Sakura ship but... He's less than a decade old (The first episode with Syoaron, properly, Kero says ((something like ^^; )) 'Good for someone less than a decade old') but when it ends he's about 11-12.
All so the dress from the second movie.... She's 11 CLAMP.... I know in Japan people are more mature but you wear that sorta dress when your 16 not 11.
This just made me feel weird about the ship but they are still so cute.
All so, it totally changes Li's personality and kinda ruins the cool feel of his character.
But that's just my opinion. *A million fangirls shoot me*

I all so feel bad for Tomoya, she loves Sakura but helps Li with his feelings for Sakura... Awh.
