Cardcaptor Sakura | Cardcaptors

This is a pretty big log of most Card Captor Sakura collectibles

These two are the poseable figures, and are probably the easiest to access overseas.
The company (Good Smile) that releases the figures do attend some anime conventions, or have affiliated stores in the US/Canada (I am assuming that's where most forum members are from...).

Otherwise, there are a few online shops / sources but I'm not sure whether I can link them here.

I don't currently own the two figures above, as Tomoyo isn't released yet... and I wasn't going to buy Sakura unless Tomoyo was announced XD

I really would like the teapot though, because it's so very cute!

I remember Cardcaptors, your title surprised me. I haven't heard any one talk about this anime in years and years. I used to watch it after school on the US Kids WB... It was amazing. I also bought the subbed first movie off of amazon many years ago. I found all the card captors u.s episodes on torrent and downloded them, put them into my itunes library along with season 1 of digimon and batman beyond. The memories.

Cardcaptor Sakura was most likely the first real anime/manga that caught my interest during the early 00s. While I never read the manga itself, the anime series pretty much defined to me what anime/manga is for the most part and has myself hooked at it for at least a couple of years before pulling the plugs out. It goes without saying that the OST is pretty awesome, some of which has been nestled in my brain permanently.

The French channel of Teletoon aired the French dub, which is apparently based on the English Nelvana dub with few more alterations. I don't remember any of them other than the modified first season's opening. It's basically replaying the first minute of the scene from the very first episode, reminding us that Sakura's goal is to retrieve every single Clow Card back to their former book. This modification only applies to the French dub that Teletoon aired, not elsewhere. Otherwise, the French dub there is similar to the one made in France.

Most precious anime that ever existed, no doubt. Just half an episode of this show and I feel like hugging everything in my room. I like magical girls who fight evil by moonlight, but I also like shows that do something different with the formula. I liked that there was no conventional antagonist, and that the story was all about Sakura growing and maturing.

I haven't read the manga yet, but there are a lot of things I like about the anime vs what I've read about the manga. Meiling was a hilarious addition to the anime and I liked that the amount of cards was upped to 52 (like an actual deck) and for the love of god, THANK YOU for downplaying the student/teacher romance thing to the point of a one sided crush on the former's part. Thank you.

I watched the dub when I was growing up and I really liked it. This was back when the idea of watching a show considered "girly" was unappealing to me. Now most of the anime I watch are fluffy shows made for kids, magical girl shows in particular. I recently watched the original Japanese version of the series and it was a totally different feeling, like an extended director's cut. So many episodes the dub left out...

#1 favorite anime for sure and just the personification of everything I like about magical girl shows. Just a heartwarming depression-killer. I really should rewatch it at some point, but considering it took me three years to finish the 70 subbed episodes... yea.
