cant drop certain refurbished items?

i've noticed that theres different colors for refurbished items, like a yellow or red leaf color. however, you can drop the red ones on the ground but you cant drop the yellow ones, any idea why?
i thought it was because of a custom design, but i had a red leaf colored exotic bed with a custom design on it so i dont think thats the case

It is because of the custom design. It couldn't have been a custom design of it was a red leaf.

yellow leaf are objects customized twice
if you customize an object the leaf become red but if you customize same object again without giving again the original status the leaf become yellow

so i assume that if you customize it twice at the same time it would turn yellow? so, for example the alpine series, you can customize the fabric/wood grain color at the same time. so it would turn it yellow?

It's only yellow when you use a custom design and you can never drop yellow leaves. If you change the wood and fabric of an alpine piece without using a custom design it will still be red.

also, clothing fabric and custom designs aren't the same. clothing fabric will still give you red leaves and those items can be dropped.

this isn't important in that case the leaf will be always red no matter what part you customize
the leaf will turn yellow if you pick same object now fully customized and customize it a second time while already customized

your english makes sense, but i'm pretty sure you're wrong. i've gotten yellow leaves from first-time customizations because i used a custom design.

You cannot drop them but there is one way to give them to others (don't know if you're ever planning on giving your customized items away but this is useful information nonetheless). You are able to put the item for sale at Re-Tail and you can let other players buy a customized item that way.

huh. i never knew that. doesn't it lose the customized design, though? ( or at some point? ) or does it keep it?
