Can this 3DS model be used in Europe?

I don't see why not; it's a UK website, no? But to be on the safe side, you might want to send them an e-mail to check.

That's what they call an 3DS XL over there in the European and Japanese regions.
Kinda odd if you ask me...considering that the site is a UK site.

I have an European 3DS XL and I've never seen it called a LL.

I thought it was only called an LL in Japan?

You might have trouble because of the different plug designs in the UK and the rest of Europe, you can buy an adaptor though.

No I know what LL is
I had a DSi LL (imported)

But I live in Europe and I've NEVER seen it be referred to as an 'LL'.

Oh my bad, it's actually the Japanese 3DS that calls it LL.
My mistake.

That's what confused me

No you can't. I bought the XL so I can get American DLC's, I like them better(I also purchased my 3DS in America).

Technically you can use it in Europe (if you get a charger adapter), but you also have to buy the Japanese version of the game... I think! Don't quote me on that.

Oh nvm Europe got their own version as well as Japan, so I'm sure it would work if you already have a European cartridge.

No, that model hasn't been released in Europe. Either they're using the wrong product image (they don't seem to have the EU pink one listed) or they've imported it from another region - judging by the box, North America. You would be able to get an adapter to charge the console, but you wouldn't be able to play any games you have bought in Europe.

I think it'd be better to send in a support ticket with a link to the product, and asking them if it is an NTSC or PAL region product. Mention that the American box being used is confusing, and you'd rather not end up with something that can't run European games.

I would do this if you're really unsure. But the 2nd solid pink one is for EU. The Pink/White is NA/JP, while that particular solid brighter pink is EU.
