Can someone hold my items?

Today,im restarting my town.This is because im gonna restart my 3DS.So,i need someone to hold them.If i can't find someone,i'll do the reset immediately.Also,i have a question.If you have somebody holding your items and you're restarting your 3DS,will the items be gone?

Nope. As long as the items aren't on your game when you reset, they will not be deleted.

What do you mean by "restart your 3DS" btw?

In System Settings,there is a option to format the stystem's data.Some things will be lost.But,the photos and videos in Nintendo 3DS Camera will be saved.
