Can randoms take the 10th plot?

So I read somewhere that it wasn't the case, but every time i have a vacant plot it gets taken the very next day. Is this a glitch or no?

Yep they can! It usually only takes one day for it to get filled. I have had it take two days before tho.

Yeah, some people have their empty plots for a few days before a random takes the plot. For some reason mine were always filled the very next day. I haven't TT'ed out a villager/had an empty plot in a while though.

Yes, Hooper moved in the day after I got my 9th villager. I hate him so much
