can i use amiibo to move in/kick out a villager while another has a moving date set?

hi! currently, in my town, opal has set a move out date for aug 5th- i'm kind of sad to see her go but her house was blocking where i wanted to place a certain pwp- and i was wondering if in the meantime, i could use an amiibo card to move in punchy? i have 10 villagers in town right now, so using an amiibo would mean kicking a villager out in the process. the villager i'm planning to kick is not opal, so if i use the card to move in punchy, would it mess with her plans to move?

any tips / personal experiences would be really appreciated! thank youuu!

I don't think it could make her stay if you already save when you let her move out. Considering that the Villager move out 6-10 days after they told you and the Amiibo Villager move into your town in 1 day, that just don't mess the plans of Opal moving out.

So feel free to use the Amiibo Card.

I have done this before. It did not change the villager's plans to move when they already had a set moving date.
