Looking for some redecorating inspiration after getting back into this game after years - especially with all the new stuff nowadays! Instead of having a set per room, I'd like to do different rooms and although I'd match the items, I'd possibly mix with some other set/s too. For example right now I have the whole gorgeous set in my main room and I feel like it's kind of weird having a bed in there. I'd like to do like a main living room, kitchen, bathroom etc. Currently looking through pages of furniture items online so your photos are very much welcomed! Please and thanks

Amagi's rooms are mostly Japanese-esque. He's based off on the protagonist of the Japanese theatrical play called LENS named Amagi Keitarou. He's a novel writer who extremely sucks at writing novels (they come off as boring) but has remarkable deduction skills. He took part of solving a case about a lost/stolen book in the Japanese Imperial Library. (In the play, that is.) The play is set in the Taisho period thus the semi-modern vintage bedroom. Omitted room: Bathroom/toilet

Spoiler: Elroy's rooms

Elroy's rooms are mostly natural-esque and comfortable. He's a part-time gardener of the town and takes care of his indoor garden most of the time. Omitted room: Basement

I'm so impressed by Everybody's houses!! I'm always amazed by the creative ways that people make cohesive rooms that I would never think of in a million years!

Here are a few of my houses/rooms from my towns!

Spoiler: Sunny's house

Sunny's house isn't very cohesive as a whole, but she has some cozy rooms that I enjoy a lot!

Here's her upstairs! She spends most of her time up here and sleeps up here with her pet scorpion:

Here's her back room! She has a pet hamster in here that reminds her of her little brother Carson, who lives in my other town, Teufort:

Mart?n is a saucy mayor, with a classy and saucy house!
His main room is classy and green as can be! It's so green that it started a rumor that he was a witch amongst the younger villagers, because they can see green light emanating from his house at night

His back room/bedroom is where he indulges in his secret hobby: collecting manga (he also checks his email here)

It's a shame that the compression messes with the colors so bad in these pics, because this is really such a pretty pastel, but it doesn't really look it in this pic!

customized furniture i really like the customized astro and robo sets i did not know that you could customize the robo sets so now that i know i think they look really cool...

i also like some of the food items that can change like the pasta can be squid ink something... and the kiddie meal can make the japenese omurice!

For customized furnitures, I'm in love with plant partition and minimalist set! Also Trellis/Morning Glory and Hanging Chair. I'm pretty much a Welcome Amiibo furniture lover. Having all villager cards (RV and non-RV) set made me do whatever I want with furnishing houses ahhh.

I love the Rococo Set customized to black. It has such a beautiful look to it. I have the whole set in one of my rooms combined with the Creepy Set. I'm adding one or 2 new things in that room tomorrow. I can take a pic of it when I'm done if you'd like.

My favorite customizable sets are the rococo set in gothic black and the alpine series because it has sooo many options. I wish I had a picture of my old study/library before I changed it into my bedroom because it had pieces from the gorgeous series, the alpine series, and a bunch of other random items to make a very cozy space.

My secret is to use Happy Home Designer (to design ACNL rooms)* since everything is for free and you can just design whatever minus the wonderful hanging/ceiling items. I have all Amiibo cards and figures available for ACNL so I tend to hoard or wolf down whatever items I need. I'm glad you liked Amagi's relaxation garden and Elroy's aesthetics lmao. They are men with good furnishing taste! I also highly urge you to use the HHD drag and drop feature since you can just switch and swap any clutter that may ruin your image of a good room. Clutter can be good if done right, though!
