Can an amiibo be used more than once?

So I have an amiibo for julian. My cousin and i both want julian. If I use the amiibo to invite julian to my island then use another amiibo to kick him of so my cousin can invite him can i then use the same amiibo to invite a new julian to my island?

first, amiibo are used three times to invite someone (they ask for three items)

after that, your amiibo villager moves in.

from there i think any amiibo can just kick them out whenever? and once he moves i believe you can just bring him back whenever, as any villager can quickly be found again

To clarify I know that you have to use an amiibo 3 times to invite a villager. what i meant is that can the same villager be invited more than once using the same amiibo if they were kicked off?

I'm pretty sure there are people who are just endlessly cycling the same villagers with amiibo to sell/give them away, so I believe you can use an amiibo to move in a villager an infinite number of times, as long as they leave your island completely before each new attempt.

as for using more than once, i believe as long as a villager is OFF the island it can be used however. if they move, the next day they can move back i believe
