can a secondary islander do trades, giveaways, etc?

i created a secondary character for giveaways so i dont have to give my name, but can you complete things online with them?

should be allowed, right?

only if they’re connected to a nintendo account and have nintendo online. if you only have nintendo online for one account and not any others, any other characters you create will not be able to go online
