What's even the point of having villagers In a campsite if the town is full? I just got Marina in my campsite and I can't get her b/c I have the maximum. Ugh man this is just a bummer

I think its just to play games for exclusive furniture or something?

You can also exploit certain personality types and get a ton of bells. So there's that

I haven't had a person in my campsite in the last three weeks. So it's useless.

I haven't had anyone camp in a while, too. And now and again I TT away and forget to check a villager. I always try to keep a few spaces open, just in case.
It just seems unfair, though </3

It's a fun way to get to see and interact with other villagers. If you don't go on forums or websites, you might not even know who the animals are. I know when I was originally playing, I met and learned about animals I never heard of because they were camping.

They can come back, too. I was heartbroken when Stitches came camping and I had no vacancy. But then, like a month later when I did have a spot open, he was back camping again! Needless to say he now lives in my town.
