Campsite Villagers = Choosing Who to Move

Hey everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your summer! Hang in there and stay safe!

So, while I really love how the devs have added that when you have a full roster of villagers and a campsite villager in town that you can now get them in, but the way it's executed is a tad annoying to me.

The randomization of a villager moving is a bit irritating to me because of how hard most try to get their dreamies only to see one in campsite (as most don't have the NMT or IGB to buy them here so campsite is a good chance for them) only to have the campsite villager want another dreamie to move.

I wish they would allow us to choose who we want to move since campsite villagers are a bit hard to get. Or, if someone is already about to Ieave, can have them just go at that point.

Just an idea in my opinion!

You have to reset the game if the campsite animal isn't picking someone you would want them to change places with. Omce they mention who the villager is just turn the game off. It can take awhile but they'll get to the one you want moving out eventually. It took me about 3 hours total to get Katt to finally pick Scoot.

Edit: I'd prefer it if it worked the way you described. Easier, smoother.

It does seem odd that there's a huge gap between campsite villagers choosing who they replace and amiibo invites asking you who to replace...but hey, Nintendo gotta sell those amiibo somehow!

i tried talking to the campsite visitor in different parts of the tent and usually it asked for other villagers -
but probably its just luck lol

The fact that the choice is random for natural campsite visitors but you get to choose with amiibo really does make me think less of Nintendo. They designed a frustrating, unpleasant experience. Intentionally. And they've offered a fix, which is to spend more money. Not cool, and one reason why I was completely content to buy knockoff amiibo.
