I agree. Even if I wasn’t actively looking, it’s always fun to have a visitor. Plus it was always a good chance to see if anybody else would want those visitors in New Leaf. The fact that other people can’t adopt your campers now is terrible in my opinion. Yeah it is an insanely low rate. They really need to fix it

You could invite a camper from another village in new leaf? I had no idea. At one point my brother had a villager in his site I would have loved to invite.

I think it’s supposed to higher your chances of getting a missing personality, not that it’s a 100% guarantee?

That was my impression. Of course, all of my info is completely second-hand.

If you like I can share the gains from my own fruitless labor. I was TTing days just to check the DIYs at the beach since there was one specific one I really wanted. I haven't gotten it, but I have gotten a ton of extra DIY recipes that I don't particularly want or need. Do you have anything you're looking for? Off the top of my head I know I have a few random ironwood things, some gold stuff, and a bunch of giant teddy bears. I have way more. I have to check and see what. It's no fun feeling frustrated, so take some free stuff!

wait i don't think you can... the purpose of visitors is that they're visiting your island/town so i feel like it won't really make sense for them to add a function that someone from another island could invite them. this was the case for new leaf, and i think it's the same for new horizons.

Yeah sorry I worded it poorly. Haha thanks for your offer! I don’t have any DIYs that I’m looking for at the moment. I’m not even sure what’s out there! I just needed to let out my frustrations a bit and vent. It’s hard to not get angry and annoyed at these sort of things

I get it Sometimes ranting helps! I hope you get one of the villagers you're looking for before too much longer. And who knows? Maybe we will see some campsite spawn rate adjustments eventually.
