I've had 2 so far after the forced campsite villager, and they were both mice. I just have mice luck, apparently! And, they're both snooty mice (Bree and Greta). It's not like I hate mice, I just don't like the snooty personality!
Outside of amiibo, I only ran into 2 in the campsite.
One from the mandatory move in with Jacques and a random camper of Vivian.
I feel they made the encounter rate for campsites really low because of the option forcibly moving out one random villager of their choosing if you have a full town. It's something I feel that the devs really want you to have a varied town of different villagers rather than just a monospecies town, since they modified the amiibo campsites to visit 3 times before they can move in. It's hard to say if it is a scheme for people to buy amiibo, since Nintendo hasn't reprinted the cards anywhere outside of Japan yet.
Well idk but in my main island I rarely get them (I do tt) and in my cycling island I get them all the time, not to mention my insane luck with them (I got Lolly, Freya and Fang through it!).
This surprised me for some reason. I didn't know it people have gotten less visitors compared to NL. Maybe I'm just lucky? Today I have my fifth visitor staying at the campsite (if you include the first force-in camper).
ever since I started playing (no TT) I've only gotten one camper (aside from the 6th default villager). she showed up while I had 8 villagers
wish i they appeared more often so then it would feel more lively in the camping corner
I did a couple amiibos (Flurry and Genji)
And then with time traveling I've gotten three ppl in my campsite (Noticably duing autumn) I got Francine, Raymond, and Mott in my campsite.
i've only recently gotten one since the forced camper, but i was talking to a friend earlier and he said he's had like 4 or 5? i can't tell if he's just making stuff up because that wouldn't surprise me but it's weird if he's being truthful.
I've had two campsite visitors in a week - Raymond and Eugene, but I had to play some weird card game with them, basically just guess whatever card they had on hand, and it was just tedious, so I couldn't be bothered. They were gone the next day.
I have had one which i think was O'Hare since the forced first one and it was impossible to get him to move in. I tried talking to him about 15+ times but he just wouldn't change his mind.
Since I've had 0 campers visit since the first forced move in, I think it's safe to say that sand dollars are currently more useful than my island's campsite.
