Campsite never being used?

Does anyone else have the problem of after the first animal comes to visit your campsite and you do all this things, yadda yadda yay new villager.

But ever since I had that ONE visit I have not had a single one after that? Is it normal, or is it only an amiibo thing? I decorated around it, will that cause no villagers? I also don't have a full town, only 9, but I haven't sold the last bit of property either.

Not a big deal breaker I just spent time decorating it and when no one visits the campsite I get sad haha

Lucky!! I've been playing legit and I have gotten 0 besides the forced one in tutorial

I literally have yet to see one campsite villager other than the forced move-in, who by the way, has already moved out from my island lmao

I TT'd a lot (day by day for 1 year) by trying to find campsite visitors and they seemed to visit every 2 weeks on average which in my opinion is very low. Not everyone has amiibo cards nintendo

They don't really show up especially when there is an open lot.

I'd like to add that by TT'ing, I've only gotten 3 within an entire month in game, but by playing normally I've gotten 2. Luckily I found Judy in my campsite today and had the chance to invite her to move in, she isn't exactly a dreamy but was very close to being one. If you don't want to play by time traveling then it can be a really long wait to get a campsite villager.

Then it seems to me to be completely random for everyone. They should of made visits more frequent when lots aren't filled but I guess that's why they have villagers on the mystery islands.

I haven't had any either since the forced one (well, I invited amiibo a few times, but it was empty those days anyway). I've never had all 10 villagers either. I am intentionally waiting to build plot 10 in case a cool camper shows up. Then I could build a plot and have a place for them to immediately go to. But I haven't had anyone.
