Campground?

So, i never really get anyone other than wendell, blanca, pascal, the chameleon, jack, the easter bunny, and the reindeer (sorry i dont know their names, i would look em up but im on mobil and openong a new tab deletes what i write)


But how do i get other characters to camp? I reeeeeealy want epona to visit!

You'll need both an amiibo scanner device (or, if you have a New Nintendo 3DS, it's already built in) and their amiibo cards/figures. Once you've got both, you can use Wisp and scan the cards and the RVs will appear on the campground.

If you want to buy stuff from Epona's RV, you could find someone who has the appropiate amiibo and they can scan Epona into their campground. Then you can visit and buy 3 items from the RV, however, it'll be at a higher price. However if you wanted Epona to move in, I don't think that's possible unless you have your own amiibo.

I have an old 3DS XL and I got a scanner for it around the time the Welcome Amiibo update happened. I don't know how easy scanners are to find now because I know stores near me kinda redid their Nintendo sections and a lot of stuff is harder to find now...but it wasn't that expensive!

amiibo scanners sell for about ~25 bucks on amazon. its a big commitment which is why i didn't have access to one until my friend bought one with an amazon giftcard for his birthday earlier this month lol. one figurine sells at stores for like $7-15, but you can order specific cards off of ebay or from people on the forums (in the amiibo trading card thread) for $1-$5 each. character cards can be scanned into your game, and you can pick and choose which villagers live in your town (you can even kick the villagers you don't want in your town out with the cards, and they leave the next day). if you want more RV's, there are RV cards and special NPC cards that bring people to your campsite.

if you have the means, i would recommend making the investment, however if you don't have the $ which is understandable i don't either, you could search the forums for people who offer RV visits. unfortunately instead of 3 MEOW coupons items will cost 5, but that's a good way to get cool new items! alternatively alternatively, you could order special items from forum shops with tbt. :^)
