Camp Bell Tree 2025 ideas

Hey guys since Camp Bell Tree is going to go down sometime this summer, I thought I’d check with you all and see what you guys think the theme is going to be!!!

I vaguely remember some talking about a farm theme possibility.

With the egg contest this year and quite a few made beach themed eggs that sparked an idea in my head for a fun beach themed camp.

I also really like the idea of shipwrecked: lost in the jungle themed camp!!!

What are you guys’s thoughts on possible themes this year?

We may be more likely to have a farm-themed camp, but I’m more interested in a Texas-themed camp. Give everyone across the world a trip through Texas on one website rather than in real life.

Underwater/Ocean camp pleasepleaseplease
I have been hoping for more fish and other underwater themed collectibles and sporadically posting about it since the first camp
Like, how pretty would some glowing, magical underwater stuff be?? I came up with a few collectible ideas here and here, but there are so many ways you could go with it!!
It could be another natural expansion to the camp lore as well!! 2023 we launched off and went above the site of the first camp, this year we dive down and explore below!!

But seriously, I think there are so many themes that could be really cool as well, like a a island in the sky theme, tropical island (mimic of nh premise), or ooo yeah a pirate/shipwrecked themed one would be cool!

I really don't know if I'll participate this year, I think I'll have to see what's going on at the time and stuff. . But past camps/fairs I've participated in were fun!
I wasn't around at the time, but we did have collectibles released before that were kind of beach-y, they were shells, the ice cream swirl, and the popsicle that is pastel looking. Waay before my time. Another year there was the plush clam, pearl, jellyfish, clown fish plush, and oarfish.
If we get anymore aquatic stuff.. I am secretly hoping to see some freshwater stuff the fishbowl egg we just got can be. Maybe it is a gold fish that's in there or.. an ember tetra And I often think of the seashore egg as a lake shore :3 (I've never seen the ocean in person, but I have seen Lake Michigan once) But animal crossing does have bettas and neon tetras and killifish to catch in the river.
I have heard alot of requests for growing crops similar to the flower event for camp sometime or having some sort of farm theme with cows last year. I assume if we have camp.. it may be a farm themed.
Farms can have creeks~ btw :] and bugs.. stinky bugs. Oh the stink bugs where I live have been awful this year btw.

I’m not sure if Staff has confirmed anything, but I do know in the past when the first camp happened they said it would alternate years with the fair. So last year there was a fair and this year there would be a camp then next year it would be a fair and so on.

If we go by that, then this year is a camp year!

If they are wanting ideas and they’re snooping around this thread, I think it would be super fun to have a traditional sleep away style camp theme. I know the first year was kinda like that, but I think it would be more fun if it was leaned into a little more. Like maybe rival camps actually and each cabin/team would have to come up with a traditional style camp name like Camp LottaBells or something! It’s very American themed sleep away camp so i can understand not going this route as well!

Other fun ideas would be the ocean one for sure or a beach themed one. I also think a magic themed one would be fun.

Anything they come up with will be great and fun as usual!

The blue rose thief in me thought of a heist themed camp haha like it could be about the bank of TBT and whoever steals the most gold etc wins! activities would include posting pics of stuff we have that we can use as gadgets for the heists, drawing our getaway vehicles and more! I'd also be down for a beach theme but I'm looking forward to the camp if there is one this year!

Maybe an Among Us related event? I think the farm idea is more likely but just throwing it out there since I know a couple of us at least would love to see those among us shrooms as collectibles or more .

I do love the idea of a farm too! Moo moo milk collectible please if so . And Airy ’s adorable cow egg.

Other ideas: Splatoon themed event. Maybe have one of the activities be splatting posts again like the april’s fools except with some restrictions.

I honestly would love another space camp since I missed out on the one we had and also all the collectibles. Also the badge for winning.

Maybe a camp that is kinda like that one thread where we’re living on the same island, except for this one we’re kinda stranded on a spooky island filled with cursed zippers and more and we have to find a way to make until help arrives to get us off the island?

That’s all I can think of for now.

I know it would probably never happen, but I'd love a spooky camp theme! Just because of the camping/sleep away tropes/themes in classic horror! It's a fun little theme, that's in alot of movies, and some are pretty good.

Nothing grim, just fun and spooky. Plus, there's been alot of horror comedies relelsed so far this year, so might be fun! Nothing wrong with a little spooky fun in the summer time :3

They could do that for a Halloween event at the cost of a summer camp.

Another Camp TBT or team event I would like to see is past vs future. Nostalgia vs innovation. 1950’s & 1980’s vs 2010’s & 2040’s.

Ooh I love this! Your idea makes me think of the pickpocket ability in Dragon Age and WoW. Maybe a game where we can pickpocket npcs and have a chance to get something super rare?

I’m pretty sure it’s going to be farm camp. It’s funny how Cow is playable in Mario Kart World, too. I just hope there’s a camp in general. I love this event and can’t wait for the official announcement!

I'm happy with whatever theme it is (unless it was clowns... please no clown camp LOL), but I do think we are overdue for some collectibles that have the underwater background. I just really can't wait to be on a team again.

I'm a little biased for farm theme because that's probably my best chance for birb collectibles

I do kind of think the farm theme is the mostly likely given it was mentioned in passing before as you said, and I feel like it could be a fun theme with cute collectibles. Farm animal plushies could be cute, and maybe it would be a good opportunity to release the plain white egg.

Another idea for a camp event could be band camp. I mentioned the idea before in a different thread, but... Actually I'm lazy, so I'll just quote my old post(This was actually from a thread asking for fair ideas, but I do think the basic concept could work for a band camp as well, even if there might need to be more team oriented events):

Maybe a music theme?

Events could maybe be something like:
-Write song lyrics with an Animal Crossing theme
-Decorate a room in ACNH for a musical performance
-A scavenger hunt involving finding things like musical instruments, albums, etc. (Although... if this were a camp instead of a fair, then it could be band camp and this might be better as a team scavenger hunt where each team has to find as many instruments and such as possible.)
-Design a K.K. album cover (this could link back to the song lyrics event, and you'd have to make the cover for someone else's song)
-Design a gyroid
-Dress your ACNH character for their musical performance
-Maybe something involving guessing a part of a K.K. song that's been distorted in some way, or an album art/partial album art that's been distorted, mirror-style.. Or gyroid mirrors/find the gyroid
-A little forum scavenger hunt with some things hidden in music related threads that you have to locate using a given hint
Etc.

Some possible collectibles:
K.K.
A new gyroid, or multiple gyroids
Maybe a frog head similar to the ones used for the town/island tune
Or just a frog villager
Music note, maybe a glowing one like from the glow-in-the-dark stickers item
Instrument of some kind
Etc.

But to add to this:
Each team could decide on a band name and there could be an event to design and decide the logo for your team's band

I am interested in a farm theme as well. There is a lot of opportunity for some good collectibles with a farm theme. It would be interesting how the team aspect would go into farms. Maybe the team with the most animals/points wins? I'm pretty open to any theme though since both of the Camp TBTs were very fun.
