Bye Bye 3DSs 👋 Hello Switch ✨❤️✨

So I put all my four towns to sleep and put away my two 3DSs (not making the mistake of selling them again though) and I am the proud owner of a brand new Switch
I have downloaded Animal Crossing New Horizons from Nintendo Eshop and have the code ready to open Thursday night at 9 PM in my time zone (PST)
Pretty majorly excited to start playing!!

Nice! I can't wait to get my own switch and copy of New Horizons and start playing. Putting it off for the time being due to COVID-19 and future uncertainty, but I am so planning on joining the Switch crew as soon as I can. I'm going to miss the popularity of the 3DS and the free online. Hoping to make new memories I can treasure with the Switch.

By the way, I really like the border you added to your photo - it gives the image a sort of dreamy/nostalgic vibe.

Omg im in the same boat (or plane ??) !! Im back on the west coast bc of covid (left my 3ds back out east) and I'm just waiting for amazon ca to deliver my switch tomorrow (fingers crossed) and then ordering digital copy of NH at 9pm too (fingers double crossed) !! so exciting

Aww, thank you Actually we are in semi isolation because of the Covid 10 virus issues ... and even though we’re not sick we are staying at home because of health vulnerability. So I am really delighted to be able to have the new game to distract myself with

Yeah... this COVID19 stuff is scary, I had to opt for my safety and health so I got ACNH digitally, first time I've ever bought a Nintendo game digitally. Felt really bizarre. Also took way too long to download on my terrible internet, oof. Thank god its a pre-load for a reason! I'd go nuts having to wait for it to download on release day haha

Too funny! I hope your delivery comes on time ... regarding the game itself, I had pre-ordered a hard copy and got a notice from Amazon.ca today that they would be shipping early earlier than expected! Yikes, what to do!? ... so I very cautiously waited till my Nintendo E shop download was 100% and then I cancelled my pre-order from Amazon! LOL
So, it looks like Amazon is shipping some of the games out earlier then originally agreed on, but I decided I didn’t want to wait

I must say I really prefer to have the physical copy and packaging with it too because I love collecting ... I did download two ACNL games but I much prefer to have the hard copies ... My new horizons game took a long time to download too even with great internet here ... it’s a huge game I guess
Stay safe and be doubly cautious re this sickness ... it’s no joke!
