Disregarding the fact that people do trade download codes all the time on here, and can even trade for physical copies of games here...

It's also a Platinum reward from Club Nintendo right now.

And trading game codes is kosher. There's a sub-forum for it. :v

I only saw OP asking for a download code - which would be acceptable, even if it wasn't a Plat reward - but I didn't see any mention of cash/gift cards. :v
