Nintendo made them only sell their Pokemon plush in "bundles" unless bought in the store... So the average price of the Pokemon on their own are usually around 30-35 USD before extras if you buy in store. Can you imagine the prices for that though? Build-a-bear is pretty expensive.
I'm looking at their website and they have some Pokemon ones. Starting price is $61.
TIL build-a-bear has pokemon plushies. They don't look as good as the ones TPC sells. Also, $61 is an outrageous price, but it's probably because of the quality of material they use.Can you imagine the prices for that though? Build-a-bear is pretty expensive.

They're probably just going to do the special npcs like isabelle and tom nook, so don't get your hopes too high. Or just ignore this post, since im being pessimistic.
This is actually probably true unless the line gets really popular going off how BAB has done Pokemon. But the price is because of Nintendo making BAB sell them online only in pre-stuffed bundles that doubles the price. I'm not sure why, but Nintendo apparently has demanded they do not sell Pokemon unstuffed and that online sales must be in bundles...TIL build-a-bear has pokemon plushies. I spent ALL my money on Build-A-Bear and Webkinz as a kid. Much regretCan you imagine the prices for that though? Build-a-bear is pretty expensive.
